Default 4x4 TPS Resistance Readings.

Anyone got them? could they post them up.

Just want to check this TPS before i put the inlet on and also that its set properly once on the body.

PF01 ONLY
Disconnect the ecu multiplug from the ecu itself and then with a multimeter check as follows:

Pin 1 of ecu connect your negative probe.
Pin 17 of ecu connect your positive probe.

Adjust the sensor until it is just open circuit and ensure it drops to a reading the moment the throttle is moved, but be certain it always goes open circuit with the throttle released.

PF09 ONLY
Plug the ecu multiplug back into the ecu and turn on the ignition.
Adjust the sensor to read <0.35volts at idle position.

anyway to do this off the car doug? rather than on the car with the inlet on, and the ECU in etc etc

Ryan,

The variable resistance, will be around 300 to 600, ohms, when the throttle is closed, and fall to approx 40 to 150 ohms, as the throttle is opened,pf09,
