in nearly all the best motoring vids ive seen the scoobs win
its just usually on top gear or something they put up a mr340 or fq400 againt a standard sti instead of putting it against subara spec c's or something which always win everytime ive seen them

I may, if I can be arsed to, put up a vid of my Combe Rally Day track session when I landed up on track with 15 Scoobies and a couple of random rally cars.

I can confirm I don't regret for one moment buying an Evo over any Scoob within my Evo budget.

Nowt wrong with Scoobs mind, just I prefer my Evo on pretty much all counts.

No. I have 2 friends who have. W plate classic and a 51 or so one after the Bug eye. Loved driving them, but found seats uncomfortable in them and basically just not as exciting / fun to drive as my current car.

What I'm referring to is a track session where 15 modified Scoobs are on track, and I overtake all of them

Basically telling me that they were either all novices (unlikely, but possible), they were all running low power (also unlikely given other mods such as the APs and R888s etc a few of them had.) or I'm a driving God Also very unlikely. What it told me was that my Evo was ace for a very very mild spec and that on that single occasion, the Scoobs weren't so much.

I'll figure out how to do the video thing tomorrow and post it up (read get my bro to do it and host it up!!)

The Scoob vs Evo vs Cos debate could go on for ages. For the currently £15k I have now spent on my Evo I could have got an ACE Saff, a good Escort Cos. An M3 (had one) or an awesome Scoob.

I got the Evo and love it and won't be going back to any of the above mentioned cars.
