will escort cosworth wheels fit a 1994 rs 2000 mk5 without any hassle?

 

my mate had em on his the other week and had to go back to his normal 17's they were just too wide and it didnt handle right!


looked the nuts though!

 

Most people encounter problems when fitting these wheels to non cosworths its got sumthin to do with wheel allignment set up someone on here was havin the same problem not long back and he got his wheel allignment re done and he said it drove much better so must be possible

 

Iv got cossie wheels on my mk5 rs,only thing i had to do was grind out the lips on the rear wheel archs to stop them rubbing, when i had a full car.225 tyres r too wide aswell,i got 215 40/16
