whats wrong with that? as well as doing burnouts to warm the tyres, the other reason (and the ONLY real reason on road tyres) is to clean the crap off the tyres, esp with soft slicks that pick up every single thing they touch...

Dont need to do a long burnout to clean the crap off slicks anyhow, just a couple of seconds at best, he wasnt warming em up was he, what he did was enough.

And he was clearly jus pissin about as he was bored, big deal.

We wasnt trying to warm or clean the tyres below, and deffo didnt have a bloody mental fast car like that, we was jus felt like it, so lot less of a reason than him, same as millions of others, big fucking deal.

Ive no idea why, as it seems unrelated to whatever mods you do to it, but yeah, the SR20 is the most uninspiring straight 4cyl sound ever, even at mega power.

Power figure seems ok, there some stupid power ones around.

Lot more believable than most 4wd's flywheel figures are with all the BS transmission loss numbers that get said in the UK, thats for sure.

You got any plans to run it in BDC or anything?

I assume that you will learn relatively quickly to a license standard with the right car.

TBH mate, no matter how many pics/vids i do, doubt any will beat this pic of it competing in MSC last year



Wanna do BDC Am this year, tho not sacrificing anything to compete, so not gonna make a crazy effort to do it all.

Main thing im doing with it is having fun and acting like an utter twat and getting banned from driving.
Also want more power and a cage, esp more power, as I need at least 500bhp to keep me amused in a straight line, and i like racing.

Dont think the quality of the car helps you learn faster or not, and its not a big spec, miles less than most drift 200SXs etc you see competing in BDC etc.

Having suspension that stays level and a decent speed of steering rack and size of wheel etc help.

I agree those are all things easily done to most cars, just not the sort of crap ive seen you trying to work with before like that volvo.

At least with this, if you dont "click" you know its you not the car, lol

As long as its got a bucket seat, decent diff, and isnt actually broken, good cars dont help you learn IMO, just makes you look better when you suck.

And that Volvo is better than most cars, steering was fine too.

And it never the car, ever IMO. People always blame the car, tho ive seen people in almost stock GLSIs smoke it up in 3rd in the dry thru multiple transitions etc.

My only real experience of suffering cause of the car, is being too soft makes the transitions messier, and if the diff isnt locked, I just cant do shit.

I know what you are saying though, ive seen people in stuff i coudlnt do shit with and they are properly giving it large, pikey in that gls for example
