Sold an item on ebay a while back and the buyer contacted me after a good 3 weeks saying it had not arrived, just a very short email saying " item not received ", that was all that was said !!

Thought it strange that he had left it that long before asking about it as have had many folk on ebay email within 2 or 3 days asking where there item is !!!

Anyway i emailed back saying it was def sent out to him and have proof of postage and can provide this to him if he likes, never heard anything back until about a week and a half later and then get an email from ebay and paypal saying he has registered a complaint !!!!

Went through all the malarky with paypal and confitrmed with them i could provide proof of postage which they asked for, then this morning i get an email from them saying they have closed the dispute and have deceided in the buyers favour and have taken the money from my account and refunded him in full

How the fuck could they have deceided that when i have proof of delivery and also i have over 700 positive feedback comments and not one single complaint about items not delivered or even slow delivery on any items i have sold This guy has 20 feedback comments and has not bought or sold anything for over a year so iwould have thought it was obvious he was trying it on, and the cunt has got away with it

Fucking furious about it all and has made me think now that maybe i should stop using paypal and only accept cheques or postal orders for stuff i sell, use ebay regularly and if this is the kind of treatment you get using paypal then fuck them. Bunch of cunts.

If they dont side with the buyer then the buyer can complain to their credit card company, so its less hassle for them to always side with the buyer if there is any doubt.

Plus as seller its YOUR responsibility to ensure not just that the item was posted, but that it arrived too, so ALWAYS send it signed for, but even then if the buyer wants to be a twat they can say when they opened the box there was nothing in it.

 

Its a no win situation really with cunts that try it on like that, then when you put extra postage to cover the cost of signed for recorded delivery you get fuckers moaning and leaving negative feedback comments for excessive postage charges !!!

Its a wounder pal and it worries me as i also have 100% feedback and have no end of trouble with people saying they havent recieved things thats why i ONLY offer signed for services now... and still they try it on.

 

I would state VERY clearly in the advert that the only postage that you offer is signed for TBH, I dont see how anyone can "neg" you then when you have stated it up front.

keep the paypal account empty as fuck so they can't steal back the money if there is a dispute
what's the worst that will happen? you'll get black listed from paypal?

just set up another acount in another name and be done with it, or just stop accepting paypal as a payment service

I had transferred some money out of my paypal account so it was empty when this dispute was filed by that lying cunt and they can still take the money from you as my account went into a negative amount, they then took it off the card i have registered for my paypal account so there's no real way round it to avoid not stumping up !!! Cunts.

It was a rocker cover that i sold and was only 55 quid in total including the postage but its not the amount that pisses me off, its the principal of the thing and the fact that this cunt has got the item he bidded on and has also got his money back so has it for fuck all and its me thats one RS16i rocker cover and 55 quid out of pocket.

From now on with anything i sell on ebay i will include the cost of signed for delivery in the postage charges and will prob stop using paypal.

or you can ask someone to construct a well worded not sweary reply to put up for all to see

alternativly you could put:

soon to be convicted sex offender, read the paper

and then write to the local paper and get the local goon squad out to beat him up

thing is he may genuinely not of recieved the item. I have had many selers take well over a week to send item so i always wait between 1-2 weeks before i ask where it is. It does state in paypal that you must send by a trackable method to be protected.

i have lost a good pounds out paypal over the years but the only thing is that 99% of ebay have paypal so if oyu was not to use it you would lose lots of people as paypal is instant payment

 

i once bought an ecu from the states and it was sent insured and went missing then tracked it and it was delivered to wrong address? and signed for but not my me ? so i could not claim? and the postal service couldnt even tell me where it was delivered ? how mad is that so i lost out Ł700

 

WTF is it with some people on ebay.......... sold a few items recently and the auctions all finished at around midday on monday, wrapped everything up on monday afternoon and went to the post office and got them all sent off ( used signed for recorded delivery this time on everything ! ). Used 2nd class recorded delivery as was stated in all the adverts on ebay, then yesterday morning i gets an email from one of the buyers saying " i want to know why my item has not yet arrived as its been a while "

Fuck me its only been 2 fucking days you impatient cunt and as said in the ad its been sent 2nd class so could take up to 5 days !!!!!

Now this prick must have known that it wouldn't have caught the last collection on monday aft ( anyway we only have one collection of post out here and thats at half 9 in the morning ) so anyone with half a brain would have thought... right its been sent out on tuesday, 2nd class takes 3 or 4 days so it might be here with me on friday hopefully, not a fucking day and a half later


Ebay is really starting to get on my tits now.

More hassle than its worth at times.

ive never had a problem on ebay or with paypal i have sold 1688 items

alot of shit does get lost in the post as ive even had stuff sent from family members that never show up

what if you turn it around and it was you thats not recieved your goods that your paid for you would be on here saying there all deceiving bastards and your getting your money back through paypal

 

Mate i just found it suspicious that he left it that long to get in touch and say its not arrived yet ! Most folk leave it a few days before getting in touch, not 3 weeks and thats what made me think he was trying it on.

There is a slight possibility i could be wrong with all this but am not convinced.
