If they dont side with the buyer then the buyer can complain to their credit card company, so its less hassle for them to always side with the buyer if there is any doubt.

Plus as seller its YOUR responsibility to ensure not just that the item was posted, but that it arrived too, so ALWAYS send it signed for, but even then if the buyer wants to be a twat they can say when they opened the box there was nothing in it.
