I have owned my escort for 4 years now and would like to more about where it came from originally. I have got the details of the last 2 owners but would like to research back to when it was new. I spoke to someone in my local ford garage and when he put my chassis number into the system he said that it had Irish traits, it is on an irish plate so it makes sense i suppose.

Just wondering if anybody knew how i could get any of the information that i am looking for.

Any help would be gratefully received.

thought it may have been my first one for a minute when i saw it was white with an irish plate,unfortunately not though looks a clean example

You can fill out this form and send it to the DVLA.

They will give you a print out of any previous owners,mot's, plate changes etc... from the day it was new.

I did it for the saph and the Escos..

welll worth the Ł5 fee takes around 3 weeks to get the details but its great to have it for the history folder
