Sory chap. Last thing I want to do is disuade you but at 17 it really aint likely to happen. My bro was 19 when he got his standard FRST and it cost him Ł1600 to insure TPFT and that was with 2 years NCB. He's 21 now and it's a bit more sensible. I got mine at the age of 19 and it cost me Ł850 TPFT but that was 9˝ years ago

i rung 1 insurance company they quoted me ..............
Ł10,496 full comp
yet i rung another and they could do it for Ł1750 3rd only

know any other turbo motors that are pretty cheap insurance

At 22 a modified one cost me Ł670 TPF&T with 3yrs NCB, but limited to 6000miles

stick to a slow car mate. no 17 yr old wants to hear it but its true. realistically you will only be able to insure a standard 1 & tbh you will get used to it quite quickly! boredom sets in & you will want to mod it!
advice is to save up for a few years & get a NCB behind you. then you will get a tidy example as you will be able to spend more on one & be able to tune the tits off it!!

21 2 years NCB limited 6K a year, 440 odd
Now 22 and will have 3 years soon *touches large bit o wood* so see what it is next, although gunna get agreed value and declare some shit so will be more i reckon
