My bro's girlfriend has a very tidy R plate 1.8 Escort GTi. She recently registered on a GTi forum and was told that there is no point in chipping or changing the throttle body but that she should just fit the 130ps ECU.

I thought this was bollock though as without the cams etc surely it wouldn't do much.

Peoples thoughts would be nice and any suggestions on how she can extract a bit more from it would be appreciated. At the mo the car is standard bar a full Magnex exhaust system and a K&N induction kit

tbh I wouldnt bother tuning it unless you got serious ŁŁŁŁŁŁŁŁ

saying that, I got 131bhp from mine with just zorst and filter
