Default Magenta saff underside resto/ tidy up.

Ive had the car sorn since october and parked up hybernating in my garage.
I decided to poly bush it and give it a tidy up.
Ive got a real small garage so its going to be a tight process.
N/s front is stripped and rubbed down ready for a lick of paint.
Im putting orange poly bushes on it so, what colour shall i paint th tcas, shafts, calipers etc?
Black?

And the first tca primed, ready to play with some colours!

Black will look like standard but new

Went for mix of silver and black on mine, just cause silver looks brighter and cleaner

Whatever colour you do it will be massive improvement

Didnt do much over the weekend due to a spot of 'man- flu!'
Anyway, the bit i did achieve was a strange 1!
I thought for ages about the best way to clean up the small rusty ford bolts and bits. I decided to do a vinegar soak, being acidic it must lift the rust. And it did.
Here is the tca washers and a few bolts. All soaked for about 4 days then a quick tickle with a wire brush!

Minimum work in cleaning that shite!

Didnt get much done over the weekend due to me sawing a big hole in my thumb on sat morning. So after a while on a&e it was "don't you fucking dare touch that car again this weekend" off the mrs!

So today she fucked off to work and im at home with the thumb!
Car time:
Finished off painting the arch and started to put the cover back on (bolts gonna be painted).

After that i decided to have a go with a zinc elctroplating kit ive got. So i set it up and plated a few of the bolts ive cleaned. They look alot fresher now but im still going to paint them when back on.

Untill tomorrow.....

Coming on well m8

The bolts that hold the wheel arch liners on cost pence from Ford, probably less than the cost of the paint/your time doing it
