Hi guys refitting my engine etc and my labels have come of for the starter motor and alternator loom connections and i dont want to go connecting to the wrong points any pics would be great. need her back on the road

 

any help at all or is this a real stupid question?

 

main red wire with the funny shielding goes to the starter with the 13mm nut, the red and black, or sometimes blue and black, goes to the 10mm on the starter.
on the alternator, the small blue wire goes to the 8mm nut, the red goes to the 10mm, the other end of that red goes back to the starter motor

the brown wire you see from alternator to the starter is ment to be red, its only brow on mine as i had a new alternator loom made up and auto electrian only had brown is that size at the time, but it was a fiver, or Ł20 from fords, so hench why its brown

i know a couple of the wires have been replaced so i will see give you a shout if i get stuck if thats ok?
