i been on here about 3 weeks and though it time i put some pics up of me project i got for the road so here they are

when i got it

1 week after i bought it i got this for some parts for it

and fited this

and this


then it when like this

then i removed all this

and fited these


and it looked like this for a while



then i done this to the bumper

and tryed many exhausts

and now i got this

end up like this while i was on hoilday

come home and found these in the shed


and left it like is for a week




then fited the spring

fited xr2 spring and i ended up like this

xr2 springs on


then bought these for it




and now it looks like this

and that as it stands for now

 

nice little project take it its ur first car?

 

its clean rotten underneath the car... i wouldnt spend too much money on it mate, i doubt it would pass Mot like that.

What a heap of crap ! Sorry mate I know not everyone can afford a super quick motor or a super clean motor etc but its clearly an MOT failure. Save your money mate and try and get something else its worth you doing stuff like that to.

Well it's bound to be im sure - with no front bumper for a start - an MOT station will fail it on that ! One of the pictures shows a helluva alot of rust under neath it , black rear sprayed ligths will fail an MOT, exhaust hanging off,one head light with black paint sprayed onto it - im not saying its impossible Im just saying I would save my money and put it into something else. Everyones entitled to there opinion and thats what im expressing. In my opinion take it to an MOT test station and it will fail. Point Proved.

Still its an ongoing project and thats fair do's - good luck to the fella and i hope you can turn it into what you are looking for out of the car.

but i'm sure this will end up all well and the car gonna turn out into one of the nicest examples or even a concours one

 

most of the pics are old haven't touched it for a while. but the black gone off the head light new 1 been put in to day. bought some new rear lights for it clears but stand one's going back in when it goes for it test in january. exhaust wot on now off a xr2. all the rust under nither was just surface rust all been wire burshed back and under seeld today. all painted going in for respary after crimbo.

the wheel wot odd was a freebe off the lad i bought the wheels off as he only had 3 rs 7's

i when on hoilday coz me mam and dad payed for it all my money goes on the car

if u look in 1 of the pics u see a xr2 next to it that was rotten to hell when i got that but that is in more sound condtion then this 1 it had all new panels the lot.
But i hear u say y not just scrape it and use the xr2 well because the xr2 going to be to high to insure and this 1 had a lot of time and effit put in to this to get it on the road it still tested to january and looks a lot better than the xr2

some of u are bein a bit harsh i feel, yeah the car looks rough. just cos its not 200brake+ and shiny dont mean it cant be that with some effort. think you guys need to remember where these cars doin sub 12 quarters and winnin shows come from. give the boy a chance weve all been there.
