Just wondering, now that the board has been sold off, and a lot of the admin staff have gone, who actually is bothered about collecting/ policeing the rules?? Will any of the traders be renewing thier memebership next time?

i was generalizing a bit of coarse modds arnt all bad you for example you were a very good modd stu and you don't here about the good modds you only here about the bad modds and the modds don't slag members off they just ban them that was a joke by the way modds please don't ban me

 

i dont see the need to slag anyone off, at the end of the day were all on here due to our interest in cars fair enough there are people who just seem as though they just wind people up but moderators aint doing anything wrong given a chance i bet they're just your average person who you'd get along with if met

 

I was just interested really, as the fees were set up as far as I remember to help with bandwidth costs etc, but since you seem to have been screwed over as it were ( Does PF not fall under your intellectual property? ) . I was always happy to pay for gold membership as I belived it helped out genuine enthusiast such as yourself to pay for the time, dedication and hardware/software needed to run the place. Even now, you can't really complain IMHO about Ł10 a year to advertise to a big ford based audience. But now the place seems to have been pulled from under your feet , do people really want to see thier cash going to a faceless company who have no real interest in the scene other than the ŁŁŁ they extract from it?

And I would feel the same if I was/ had been a MOD, no problem helping out for the greater good as it were as an enthusiast based site ( and I think apart from the silliness of a few weeks ago with threads moving ever 5 secs, the mods have done a great great job of keeping PF a largly happy and interesting place to talk to other petrol heads ), but why contiune to work for free and enforce rules for a company that does not apprecate your efforts or even have the decency to reply to the former co-owner/creator and former mods? ...

Just seems odd to me thats all. Stu, Please don't take this as a dig at you mate, as I see you as a major victim of events here

first time he overtook me on the way to fordfair or national day,,,,,,,, never had time to wave as he pratically FLEW past me

everytime i speak to him i never remeber who he is as i always imagine smit as looking like someone else
