The top has fell off me gearknob and ive lost it. it was only a cover saying where the gears were, but it looks shit now and its sharp on my hand when im changing gear.

I want to change it to a 3rd party jobby, one with perferated leather on it or somethin, but it seems to be welded on. it must be removable, i was just wondering how.

Its a lift / reverse gearbox with 6 speeds if that makes any difference.

I don't know if it is the same as a corsa one, fitting wise but that was also supposed to be just pull off, it was also a lift up one.
I could not shift it, and feared wrecking the base of the lever, I cut it off in the end, even that was hard, as had to apply so much pressure with a stanley knife inches away from my squeaky bits!!

I managed to stab me leg with the stanley, luckily not a full blown stab, and my ADIPOSE tissue did it's job!!
