Default If you had a spare £20k.. Which car?

Lets say you had £20k "floating about" and fancied a car, and only had a choice of two (ie so no saying "i'll have an escort cos and £8k change" )

Which would it be?

Ford Lightning F150 SVT (fat a$$ pick up with blown v8 lump and 360bhp)

or

Ford Falcon XR6 (bigger mondeo with RWD and turbo'd 6pot lump and 320bhp)

Both can be had now for about £20k (imported XR6, some UK F150's kicking about for that money too)

Can half you fuckers not read?

I said you HAD to choose one of those two cars - and ONLY those two - you blind illiterate fucks

this is a hypothetical choice - your not actually legally bound to buy one if you choose it So don't worry and just choose one of the two I posted

Of those two I'd have the Falcon - not really into the 4x4 or truck thing.

XR6Turbo easy (not the auto tho)

3.5litre 24v striaght 6 with a GT40 turbo as standard.

500+bhp on standard internals, std turbo, and std manifolds.

10sec 1/4s and 300kmh+ proven on the above spec.

Lightnings are decent, but not really me...

The Lightning everytime.

$3500 for a Kenne Bell supercharger upgrade plus a pulley swap and chip and you're looking at near on 550bhp

Some of the guys i chat to on www.NLOC.net are running 500-600bhp on daily drivers. Top street legal Lightning in the US ran a 9 sec qtr a couple of months back.
