hi guys, i have been offered a mk5 rs2000, the only problem is it doesnt have tax, mot or a drive belt. there are a few problems with it but im not sure what they are. the guy is going to send me a list and some pictures, i will try to post them up when i get them, in the mean time what do you reckon, it is going quite cheap, what price would you say is fair for such a model.

Cant put a price on the model, without knowing exactly what needs doing, you could be buying a complete stinker or a real bargain, until you show us pics of bodywork and a list of whats wrong with the engine your guess is as good as ours, but i wouldnt pay anymore than 1k for a non runner and that would be pushing it honestly.

The bodywork needs touching up, and engine needs sorting, but can pcik up a new engine pretty cheap, its all upto really i would advise you go have a look, but personally hate cossie reps!

 

the cossie will last less time than hitler at a jewish wedding. thats coming off straight away, and a new bonnet will be fitted to get rid of the massive holes.

 

On the description it says sold sold sold as of november 22nd or something?? so how much have you agreed the sale for?? im interested to see how cheap you may of got this...

 

havent bought it yet, these were the pictures i was sent by seller. i havent seen the car in person yet, comes with cossie seats aswell.
