hi ya..anyone no if,or where you can get a standard ,or replacement oil cap for the rs 1600i rocker cover??...need one desperately...

Try an Opel/Vauxhall OHC one. Fits fine and you might get them in chromed for little money on ebay...

iirc the oil cap off mk2 golfs fit as well

The pre 1980 audi cap also fits audi (audi 80 ,audi 100 , porsche 924) , and it looks exactly like the rsi's .


an other option is the after 1980 audi cap(black plastic) (audi 80 and audi 100)
, seals good but doesnt look that good

someone tells me that some cossie ones fit as well...

It is true ,caps fit (sierra 3dr ,escort cosw, sierra sapf).
I think the ford item code on the 3dr sierra cap is the same to the rsi
's .


the later cosw cap
