Default technical data on engine managements systems

I am a long time software systems engineer, I have built lots of different systems level software and played with hardware and a number of embedded chips used in automotive systems over the years.
I would like to get a little more serious in this area, especially as there are no real cosworth specialists in Australia at this level and I have the ability to manage a system and expand on it.
Can anyone point me to technical data on engine management system designs especially cosworth ECU / sensors as I have one etc.... Is there anyone that might teach me some of this so I can get my cosworth running nicely (its in bits currently). If there is a tuner that can help me learn I have 20yrs of engineering skills that will make some sweet software / hardware systems etc to match

Regards
Gavan

I noticed that too. Deleting people's posts without informing them is annoying to say the least. If there has been some rule breaking etc then whoever deleted it could either edit the offending post and make an explanatory note why or at least pm the posters.

oohogwash1, I have pm'd you.

I did some searchs before the post, and did not find anything, guess I just missed the post... I wonder if that thread can be recovered and restored...

Thank you for the pms and replies, the information is really useful, I have a good start and will keep looking for more information.

All information is useful in this early stage.

Being so far from a the mainstream of cosworth engines... I have to be careful , no risk no gain

I hope we get the deleted info back up, once I get this moving I have some new concepts that will be of interest... I am going to use my Cossie project as the test bed (again when it gets together).

Thanks again, I really appreciate it
Gavan

Thanks guys
