Default rs1800 power

Im posting this for a friend who just bought a fiesta rs1800.
He basically wants to know approx what power could you expect from the following mods
- race spec cams(he doesnt know which ones yet)
- head ported and polished
- Forged pistons
- bigger injectors
- (Maybe upgrading the turbo)

He has great intention of modifying this car and just wants to know what kind of power to expect from it afterwards

Thanks

RS 1800s Dont come with a turbo, rs turbo's do, Standard rs1800's are meant to be 130ps which is about 128 bhp I think,
If he changed the cams and head work I reckon it would go to about 145 150 bhp

Most of the Zetecs, especially the 130 PS 1.8 didn't throw out the whole power as claimed...

So hope the engine is more than just a few hp above "standard" power.

There is no point fitting cams, or valves or anything unless you change the inlet manifold. That is the most limiting part of the engine.

It must be an RS turbo he has so...or else it had an engine transplant at some stage. Any thoughts on modifying the turbo engine?

Fit a megasquirt and either a rover turbo inlet or motorbike TBs. Should see 150ish bhp
