lambda wires, what does each wire do/go
ok
this week im going ot be ordering a closed loop chip
so now i need to sort the lambda prob out
my engine loom does have the wires but the pulg as been snipped off
so i need to know what wire goes to what from lambda to loom if anyone can help me please
its the 3 wire triangle plug aswell if that helps

one wire will be earth - pin 1 on ECU
one will be sensor output / ecu input - pin 2 on ECU
one will be power to the lambda sensor heater coming from pin 87 of the fuel pump relay
can't tell you what colours each are, but you should be able to buzz them out with a multimeter to easily find which is which

From: Linlithgow and Drives a 1989 Flint Grey Sierra Cosworth
The earth for the probe will be a brown wire. Pin 1
Sensor output will be a white wire. Pin 2
Heater will be a switched ignition live by the looks of my diagram and it will be black.
