Stu, Im payed up cause I sell things sometimes. I do agree with Sidewayz tho... Why pay £10 to view a gaming forum? Surely the forum should encourage the members to build a community?? If people have to pay for that priveledge (Sp??) then it will loose the community.

How would everyone feel if they had to pay £10 to read general Discussion?? This site would loose countless members!

The £10 is to go towards the upkeep of the site and because you contribute to running the site.... you get extras for being a Gold Member!!

See, if this was posted in IT section, no way would it of been answered as quickly as it was. I only posted as i saw it in GD.

Maybe there could be a forum for threads where people are in need of help asap? Then when its sorted, the thread gets moved to the correct area?

if there's a forum for people needing help asap, it will be limited to gold member posting only i reckon... meaning that even if a non gold member can assist they won't be able to!

in all honesty, even though i haven't myself, i can't see the big deal paying the tenner. if it bothers you that much, just stump up the cash imo.

 

At the end of the day we all moan about the performance being crap we had a mupped room that was making the site too busy with pure shite now the site is quicker (no hastle with speed for me)gold membership is down to £10.For the sake of £10 you can help the site & go anywhere you want if i was stu & pet i would have chucked the towel in ages ago.I mean have they to do all this for nothing? i wouldnt..all they ask is £10 a year

because in all honesty, i don't use this site that much.
if i wanted more out of it then i'd pay.
most of the info relevant to my car etc i find on turbosport so elect to pay my membership there.
nothign against PF, i think it's great, but horses for courses n all that.

How come the MOD who moved the posts has not justified their actions? Surely they have a good enough reason or they would not of been moved?

 

Why have they been moved to the Games room(for playing games online/on PF and possibly most underused room on the whole board), when previous XBOX/PS3 stuff has been put into Comp & IT?

Need some better communication between mod's and some consistancy (and I don't moan much!!)

That way it stays exclusive and we don't have to rub shoulders with all the plebs that could only afford Xbox 360s and obviously can't stretch to the £10 goldmember fee as they have to buy their weekly portion of Lambert and Butlers instead?
