Default i just got an amazing insurance quote !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

right i just got home and opened up my mail and in it was a renenwal thingy from Admiral who i am with at the mo . ive got a Vr6 at the mo . im 30 with 5 years NCB on 17/12 this year . i had a turbo befoe the golf and had to pay a bit more to insure the golf so i think last year i would have payed roughly £650 TPFT .i pay monthly cos its easier . thats with my bird on it with 3 NCB . and on this policy i can drive other cars !!

now they want me to pay ..................................£765 !!!! WHAT !!!!

so i confused.com it and 20 company's come up cheaper . the first is Bullseye ? they ring me five minutes later and their price was £483 . so blatantly cheaper . but when i ask about driving other cars they say they cant do it unless im fully comp . which is £559 , so still a good price im thinking . but i said ring me in ten and i will ask a couple of the other quotes if i can drive other cars . i always find a company which lets me . and im never fully comp cos my car would never be worth fixing through insurance and id just get a mate to fix it anyway .

so then i cant get through to 2 of them so i try my luck and change the wuotes to Fully comp .

now remember the cheapest TPFT was £483 .....................well fook me .......fully comp through ESURE . . . . . . . £370.77 !!!!!!!!

now you do the maths . how the hell can that be right . so i ring them up to check details etc and make sure even though its fully comp that i can drive other cars , and they say no probs .

so fook admirals £765 TPFT , im now going to be fully comp for £370.77 . ive just payed and its all set up for the 17th

they are bargains top be had out there if you persist . im still in shock lol#

Insurance is one of those things where you HAVE to ring as many as you can. More often than not youll get it cheaper and cheaper, the more you do.

Always check the schedule and policy booklet with a fine tooth comb though if it seems too good to be true, just to double check your actually covered properly.

I go through Esure, although it's called First Alternative as it's group 20 and they are MILES cheaper than anywhere else I've tried

As above, confused.com is wank!
Go on there and find the cheapest quote, then go to the company that gave it direct and it will be even cheaper

I'm renewing my mondeo at the moment for the end of the month....some of the quotes are obscene

HIC are playing their usual game of giving me a crap renewal quote, I ring them, tell them so, they quote a bit better better and I say "I'll think about it", give it 2 days and they will be on the phone with a blinder....you watch

Why can't they just give me their decent price in the first instance saving me time and effort
