Default advice on changing phase sensor!

can anyone tell me how to change my phase sensor on a 3dr cosworth.

and is there any tips or problems that i should know about?

take the whole distributor out it is easier to do that way it only has one 13mm nut holding it on u will find it between the distributor and block mark the distributor with some paint put a line on the block as well so u line the distribntor back in the exact same position,then unscrew phase sensor fit new one but make sure it is sitting dead square the the lob!u may have to bend it abit for this!!but i cant remember what gap to set the sensor from the lob

gap is 0.2 too 0.3 mm

I had to bend my plate to get it square to the shaft as well, so long as arm slot is DEAD in line with scribe mark on dizzy body(tdc) all will be fine.
NB the TDC mark is the LUG nearest the groove, NOT the groove itself.
