I am so sick of all the wires, cables tower, monitoor etc, iam thinking of binning it all and getting a couple of laptops, i already have wireless broadbandfor one of my work laptops so i can surf whilst Kaz is hogging the PC , so am thinking of wireless network, infared printer, and easy to tidy away, just need to source some damm good spec lappys anyone binned thier pc for a lappy? any cons i am not seeing?

 

i wouldnt bin my pc for one,but i use my laptop all the time
the bitch use's the pc

i like my monitor, my normal sized keyboard and my proper real mouse...

if i could keep all those, i'd get a laptop instead of my PC

also remember most laptops have shite grafix cards aswell

and upgrades are nowhere near as easy as on a conventuional PC

and it costs lostsa money to fix if it breaks

and 99% of the time youll be using it on your desk anyway

 

jim, if i get a lappy, it will be very high spec, plus if it goes wrong i can fix myslef, parts are cheaper if your trade and no i wont be using it on a desk mate ,as i maimly browse on the couch mate, cos i got wireless

 

ive used a lappy for years, atleast that way i can still sit in the livin room on sofa with missis, saves em fokin wingin that ya dissapear dont it

 

I only use a laptop Gra for the same reason! I didn't know you could repair them as i have my 2 year old HP with 15" screen,Intel Pentium 4 mobile etc...here with a dodgy backlight Replaced it now with a high spec Sony but would really like it fixed

There is a switch thing inside the comp which is fooked mate can't remember what it is called but it controls the backlight! Thats all that needs fixing as the wires going to it became detached and fooked it
