I got bored today, so Im painting me rocker cover for the Esc Cos Just curious how to polish the originally polished bit (If that makes sense) to get a nice shiny finish??

pmsl, you want the pics of a dead 6 paddle and the straight cut box sitting n me garage

Ordered a new 6 paddle and quick shift from Mike R yesterday so gonna send the box off on Mon/Tues for an uprated input shaft to be fitted and then put her back together

I live in a house, a very small house in the Country But it has a big garage

Yeah, the box is a DPE prototype one and yep got a blinding deal thanks to previous owner Jason Top bloke and still dont mind me ringing up asking questions

Dont mate, if the car didn't have so many decent parts like the 400hp engine, box, etc it would of been sold on or stripped already Can't be arsed repairing my own cars atm

what did ya try in the end then

i remember polishing me efi inlet manifold top, foot me that was a mission, sjpuld have argedd for the time i spent with the wet and dry

get it machined off mate, just needs a very light skim with a flycutter, and will lokk mint, keeps all the edges nice and sharp.

Cheers Rich, but as the paint came off I did it before the laquer was completly dry, so now the cut off are drying into the laquer Teach me for being impatient

B19, used a stanley blade and sut the paint off mate. Gonna need to find out where I can get it done professionally cause Im shyte at this sort of thing

Graceland, its TourMallard Green from Halfords spray can It looked ok till I fooked it up, so have to do it again after Ive polished it
