thats for a normal sierra and garnada prop not xr4x4 or 4x4 cosworth
the xr/cosworth has a bearing in the middle which locates the the centre of the prop and the gearbox

i fitted one of these as in the pic but a rubber one got a very bad vibration at speed and then had major problems when tried to drive through it it snapped the end o f my gearbox off

these are not for 4x4 cosworth trust me not to shore on 2wd

It looks pretty similar to the Escort Cossie one but it's not quite the same. It's Deffo not the same as a Sapphire 4x4 one as that has a bearing in the centre....

My Esc Cos one looks a bit worn... Is there an uprated one available? If so, is it any good or does it cause vibrations, etc??? Do they sell them seperately at Ford's??

Cheers

the xr4xr 2.9 and 2.0 models use a fat rubber donught with a bearing in the middle the same as a sapphire 4wd cosworth

the 2wd cosworth uses the same or similar as in the pic (no bearing) and then another part of the prop bolts to this then slides into gearbox

the escort cosworth uses the same style as a 4wd sapphire cosworth and xr but it is slimmer and stronger. (its only slimmer because the escort gearbox has a longer input shaft than a sapphire so i was told? )

the donghts i have explained are correct in these models as i have had so many problems with mine
