Avoid teh Admiral group of insurers like the plague their cover is absolutely shite!
Also try confused.com or any of the insurers that advertise in FF & PF
I pay £270 fc with all mods declared but thats through the RSOC
Oh and I'm old which also helps

im with H.I.C mate, the cars on a classic policy with mods declared and limited mileage, but thats my excuse for not using for work everyday
try them,if the ask, you attend club meetings ur a member of a club(just make sure u have any details) and tell em u go 2 shows etc, that will whack a huge chunk off ur policy as they can see ur an enthusiast and ur gonna look after ur car and not a little chav waiting to tear arse up the nearest bypass like a wanker
i did this on my mk1 astra twin turb v6,fully comp for 400

What if plod stop you? All it takes is one arsey copper to check your insurance a little more in depth (they do do this as it's happened to me). You'll be caught with your pants down, your insurer will likely cancel your policy and declare it void and you'll struggle to get insurance again.
If you can't afford to insure it don't build it.

HIC £210 f/c agreed for £7500 with all the usual track day stuff and mods upto £1500 covered on the vehicle
