I need a car. £2500.00 is the budget. (can stretch a bit) Economy and reiliabilty are important. Im thinking 306 HDI, 1.2 Clio you get the idea, any suggestions ?

 

BMW E36 diesel - plenty of 1.8 (4 cyl) and 2.5 (6 cyl) about out there for that sort of money

Many have high mileage, but the engines will run forever if services at the correct intervals - chain drive on the camshaft etc aswell so its basically an indestructable engine

 

crx vtec, it doesnt have to be boring and slow to be reliable and economical.

How does 150bhp in a light car with 100 miles to a tenner and the fact it wont break sound
