the wife has a C2 VTR, build quality is not the best but its been all ok so far, good on fuel for what it is. hasnt broken yet. What else do you want to know?
My old dear has one ( not a GT ) with 'start/stop' ....basically the engine stops every time you come to a junction or traffic lights etc....very very strange
Avoid the ones with the paddle change on the wheel!
the GT never came with the paddle change on the wheel
Should be easy enough for him to avoid then!
Thats the VTR, my cousin has one and is quite often left at the lights with a box full of neutrals. Dealer doesnt want to know as they havent had it do it with them. With it being a common fault surely theyd take her word for it and put a new box/clutch/whatever in out of courtesy? currently trying to speak to Citroen directly french cunts

Thats what we have, the hardware is fine, I think if anything they should have spent longer working on the software side of things, from my understanding normally a software update will cure this kind of thing but unfortunately citroen dealers are not the best around. Luckily we have had no problems
French and Italian cars never have been great electrically.....my wife had a Bravo HGT. Fast as fuck, sounded amazing, but every day something would stop working....then something that was previously broken would come back to life
I think its the cold wet weather to be honest, always used to be worse when it was wet out
Just last night we had to go pick my mate up from bradford on our way to Sheffield to see Foo Fighters because his Clio's battery was flat, and thats on a reasonably new car

I sold a cheapy HGT to a bird from essex in the summer. She had CRACKING bangers.
I was hoping the thing would keep breaking down so she'd come back.
Fucking thing was spot on though.
Only fiat I've ever sold that was any good
Anyway, back on topic...
I really liked it, only thing is anything major mechanicaly that goes wrong costs a fuckin fortune to put right as its an engine out job for everything practically. New cambelt costs in excess of 1k
Luckily ours had its cambelt done before we bought it....then the fucking gearbox went
Sold on ebay spares or repair - fuck paying £1500 for new gearbox and labour on a car that cost less than that in the first place!
Got her an 02 plate Black Puma 1.7i now and shes well happy
I've driven it a few times and it's fantastic, goes well, handling is amazing....like a fuckin go-kart.....only thing is i feel like a right when i'm driving it...have to drive extra fast so nobody sees me
