Default plasma or projector

Right im looking to get a new tv looked at the deal pc world have for a 50"lcd with the livingroom pc thing

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/974227

Also wanna get a surround sound setup as well then i started thinking is it worth just getting a projector as thats gunna need a seperate sound system and is gunna take the same sorta of wall space up

What do people think ?

I wouldnt have either.

LCD all the way, far more reliable, my friend fixes TV/s for a living and he is forever fixing power modules in plasmas and cicuit boards in projectors.

Hardly any problems with LCD.
