What would be the best Quickshift for the T5 box

Not sure myself but i think i remember Marco mentioning that quickshifts on T5 gearboxes arent a good idea as they are too quick for the synchros and can jam/crunch.
Prob best to PM him as i could have got it wrong.

As Moonstone Mart says Marco said there not good for the T5 box (he rebuilds gearboxs ect so he knows whot he is on about imo) so save your money m8

Yer would totally agree got rid of mine, the t5s not a box u can rush throught the gears, if u go easy on it u can make just as quick changes with out 1, my box feels so much smoother with out 1

I have a Billet shifter fitted to mine.
Made here in Australia. It is listed as a quick shift for Aussie T5 but in real world is probably the same as a cossie shift as these are already short throw.
The main advantage with this is it has adjustable shift stops and a much smother change from 2nd to 3rd making this change much quicker and smoother.

I tried a car fitted with a B&M short shift and hated it

Don`t do it!! 1000 times as likely to miss-shift, noisy and rattley as hell. Just as much use as a horse in a ladder.
