W@NKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I say this EVERY time.......
If ANY email (Ebay or anyone else) ever ask for personal info to be verified, it is a scam EVERYTIME!!!!!!!!
No matter how legit it looks, just ignore it.
Also, if it is genuine, they will address you by name, not "dear ebay member"

i agree, ive been done by a similar e.mail, took months to get back in control of my account. BUT the fact being EBAY NEVER ask for personal info. thats what they say, they dont need too. so if they ask for anything personal e.g. login name password its a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scroll down and it gives you genuine sign in URLS for ebay....
In the international section it has "https://scgi.ebay.com/..."
Now the only difference between the one in my email and the one in ebays help page is mine is "http://" and ebay says it should be "https://"
Hmmmm
