I think its a case of chicken and egg.

Ie, people dont view the interesting links room as there arent any interesting links, and cause people dont view the room no one posts any in there, by moving threads over it encourages use of the room.

Personally I think they should just split up GD into:
Car GD
Other GD

As I dont mind keeping track of 2 rooms but dont want to search the whole site for general threads, and if I click "new posts" I get all the nerdy "Rs Turbo room" posts which makes a mountain to wade through.

Fundamental problem though, is we all want different thigns so whatever they do they are fucked and will get moaned about the poor bastards, including if they do nothing

 

Its a case of people having big clever ideas but not enough common sense to realise they wont work, meaning one of the seemingly most interesing and eye opening threads on here for a while gets nobbed off to some wank room nobody will look at no matter whats in there

Split GD was shit .... Do agree there are a lot of threads in GD that should be muppet room, but Stavs thread is pretty good, and at least car related unlike a lot in GD... The best thing about PF is that you put a post up asking a question and you normally get 6 replies in 5 mins, ususaly including Chip and Stav ....

A quiet Forum is shit, just look at the RSOC board, about 5 posts a day max ....

 

Depends how often you come on here I guess.

During the week (ie when im getting paid for it, lol) I come on here loads, and I find the fast moving GD a great way to stay entertained.
However at the weekend when I only get online briefly once or twice, its SO easy to miss all the interesting stuff as its hard to find among 3 days of shite.

Rod, I said it was easy to miss stuff, I didnt say that had me upset, so no idea where you got that idea from, passionford as a business needs to maximise their ability to deliver interesting content to us their customers, my suggestions were based on that concept, i certainly wasnt getting emotional so ive no idea why you would take it that way.
