I bought build number 244 a couple of months ago with a suspect melted piston

I removed the head finaly and was pleased to see a blown headgasket only

Anyway ,, I thought i might get a couple of minor scrathes painted while the head was off













Now its turned into a full blown resto








Well at least it will be minty mint when done and up for sale

I only sold it so i could keep the white 500 , you can only have so many cars

Car is now in the bodyshop having under bonnet painted so i thought i would start cleaning/ polishing / painting parts to give them that new look











All the gaskets / bolts etc are all ready to fit when i get the car back

Next step is to refit the head which i collect 2moro
