Default Pissed off! and just had a close one!!

Out tonight running my car in, The weather is bad and its snowing! So got another 60 miles under the bonnet.

Driving along the dual 1 mile from my town and a big deer jumps over the barrier straight in-front of my car, I was travaling at 65 to 75 mph
and was able to swerve just cliping the beast.

Had a look in the dark at the damage, looks like its take the origanal 17 year old front wing out, head light and a bit of the bumper!

What a fuc#er.

Sorry to hear that mate, not good news.

At least it is repairable, i know its not the point but a good friend of mine hit a dear head on at 70mph in his 2lt Nova, totalled the car and the cheeky fooking dear decided to shit down one whole side of the car on impact.

Not a pretty sight.

Hope your able to repair it soon, and continue on your running in

Been out and knoked the dents out, now needs some filler and a can of paint.

I will have to get the fiberglass repair stuff to fix the headlights and god only knows where to get the rectangle shape indicators?

But it will live again!

It could have been ALOT worse, i remember seeing pictures of a deer crash (might of been a moose...haha) and it happened to destroy the car and impale one of the passengers...really graphic shit!

consider your self lucky.

Shite! Sounds like you got off lucky though.. heard of much worse happeneing in Deer vs Car battles.

Why not bin those indicators and fit LED flashers in the main beam units in a similar style to the sidelights in the dipped beam ones?
