well i do about 3 hours walking per day as im a postie, just wondering how many calories i actually burn in a delivery

Well i walk about 9 miles aday on my round, i 've never calculated how many calories i burn off, all i know is i can pretty much eat anything without putting wait on and i'm 41

I walk 1 hour eveery night, but im install alrms etc through the day and run about like a headless chicken, lost a little bit from just the walking a night .

You can get a fairly basic heart rate monitor, input your age, height weight ETC and it will give you a rough idea.

The Polar F4 does it and can be had for about £25 from Ebay. Using treadmills and bikes down the gym is a waste fo time as they are too generic, at least with the HRM it's a bit more specific to you.
