How can these injectors be a "drop in upgrade" for a cossie when they are high impedance and cossies run low impedance injectors?

A cossie ecu will run high impedance injectors with the right map for the
CC flow rate of those injectors.

Yes of course it will, which is adjusted in the map by addition of injection
offset minimum opening time.
Besides, those "modern" injectors open nearly as fast as low impedance type anyway.

Will, i think you have the wrong end of the stick. Probably because I think i worded my question wrong.

I don't mean the injector opening time eg 30 ms of fuel x load and x rpm i meant the actual allowance for opening the ECU makes for the time the injector spends actually opening - something like 0.8 - 1.5 ms if i remember correctly (Simon??).

 

That injection opening time is only variable based on battery voltage.
There is a battery voltage/injection time compensation table in ALL ecu's.

 

technically, the 'ohms' is just the resistance - impedance can be much more complicated
