What inputs does your TV have ?

You can get TV cards, or graphics cards with S-video

Yes you can. I have this in the house. No real idea how it works as my mate set it all up for me, but it is possible.

Most new TVs can be connected directly to the PC anyway. I have a Sony Bravia 32" TV connected directly to my PC to use as a monitor.

My sound card has a tv out, most do these days and can be bought pretty cheap.
Then just use phono cables into the tv inputs

Just get a graphics card with an s-video output on it then buy an s-video cable off ebay. If your tv doesn't have an s-video input, buy an s-video to scart adapter. Remember to get a cable that includes audio otherwise the sound will come from your pc

It only has Scart Sockets, or the separate tv/audio sockets

Thats all you need, a card with tv out will go straight to the scart

I used a scart to s-video converter along with phono to jack plug for the sound

or just get a cheap DVD player that supports divx
