Default Who knows there phones?

i need a new phone, i use approx 150 mins a month and somewhere in the region of 900 texts.

soooo i'm looking towards a contract, i've narrowed it down to;

3 mobile, 1100 contract, 1100 texts/minutes combined on a 18 month contract, outside that 12p text/12p per minute calls. for £27 a month

virgin mobile, 150 minutes and 750 texts, 18 month contract with calls priced at 35p/per minute on mobiles, 15p a minute to landlines, 10p/text. this is £25 a month. BUT texts & minutes can be carried to the next month if not used and they give you £100 worth of credit.

both contracts come with a free K800i. virgin have additional; w810i and k850i. 3 also has the nokia 6288 but i'm not a fan of new nokias!

opinions on networks, handsets & those deals please folks!

I get unlimited texts and 200 mins anytime mins a month with orange for £30 a month. And a magic number (landline or mobile) for totally free calls. A side bonus is that you can get FREE broadband at home doing that, or as I've done, pay £5 a month for 8mb wireless.

Free K810i a few months ago so expect newer ones now.

Phone / network / broadband all good.

You really ought to be on the T Mobile FlexT plan - for £20 you get upto 300min or 600 texts or you mix and match both - checkout there website.

I wouldn't go for either of the ones you've said as the networks are poo.

I'd have suggested Orange myself and I think Darren above has got it spot on.
