Default Low/Poor idle on a 4x4 cossie on brand new engine

Just had the engine rebuilt and done 0 miles, just on driveway at the moment.
Car runs sweet as a nut when warm but u need to keep your foot on the gas till it gets heated up otherwise it cuts out, first port of call i was gonna check would be the ISCV, but how do i do this?
Oh and all the engine sensors were replaced apart from TPS ISCV and CPS.
Hope this helps as otherwise it seems fine.

unplug the iscv with the engine hot and adjust the base idle via the throttle body screw.

sounds like base idle is too low

as above, it sounds like you MAY have got one of the injector plugs and the idle vavle plugs mixed up, the car will run very rich and literally piss fuel into the pot thats got the wrong plug on. when u turn the ignition on before u crank it, you should be able to hear the idle valve click several times - does it do this? if not, the idle valve may be stuck shut ,

Ok I'll have a look at that and the injectors tomorrow, certainly sounds like the ISCV is at fault, should be pretty easy to diagnose after everything else I've done!
