Hello i´m from Finland and i thought i´d start a thread here about my cossie.
Before i write anything more i want to say that my spelling might not be correct all the time but i hope you understand me.
I bought the car about two years ago and it was intenden to be my everyday car, well parts where change and it didn´t take long before i understod that this is not going to be my everyday car for long


Well the first summer the turbo was changed to a garrett gt37 and the engine management to nira i3. Shortly after one day when we where mapping the car on road a big white cloud appeard behind the car. The head gasket was blown, oilpressure sunk dramaticly and well the engine was i need of renovation. I spent the the rest of the summer and winter renovating the engine with at lot of help from friends(It doesn´t take that long but i was on a strict budget). Mostly standard parts where used exept for a group A head gasket and total seal piston rings. The cylinderhead was ported by my friend at bnmotor.fi

I drove the car almoust the whole summer and about 5000km until i got a crack in the third cylinder

Next year i will try my luck on the 402m strip, 2005 i drove a escort rs 2000 turbo mk1 the best time was 13,68 not very fast but i had lot of problems with the engine..I hope to drive faster with the cossie

Hello again!
A bit has happend here, the fuelsystem is almost done. Half of the engine is installed in the car and i have got all the new parts for the cylinderhead so the car should be running within a month with a bit of luck
