Default Damaged bore,best fix?

Hi,
I have a 200 block with some slight marks on no2 bore. The block is currently bored to0.5 over standard.

Id like to keep the engine to its original spec since it sufered a failure.

What would be the best route to take, the engine will be running 400bhp.
Thanks for any replies

depends how deep the marks are, you'd need to bore it to get rid and if its already on a .5 overbore its not ideal to overbore further when running 400bhp.

You could go for bore liners but they're expensive.....but so is a std bore second hand 200 block...you're going to have weigh up the odds.

The marks are not too deep, would all bores have to be linered?

What kind of liner would it need ect?
Cheers
