Hi everyone,

I want to fit an amal valve back on my stage 3 cossie. Does anyone have a diagram of the valve showing where the 3 pipes go off to?

Also as the original electrical plug to the amal valve has been cut off so I need to find out which wire goes where on the valve?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure regarding wiring (doesnt matter which way round does it as its just a series feed?) but plumbing is a doddle as its all labelled up for you ie W for wastegate, C compressor etc its quite self explanatory.

(c) intercooler? that one goes to the compressor housing of the turbo...

all the rest is correct though

 

Hi,

(C) hose should be connected to compressor housing OR to intercooler cold side OR to inlet maniflod.
(it is an recommandation of Ford Motor Sport in one Performance New bulletin dated of 88 year for grA RS)
Why ? For the same reason that you fit your Dump valve on cold side IC, because air temperature is low on this side. And it is good for the valve AMAL durability.
