Thing is, its like father christmas.

You know hes not real, but you have more fun and enjoyment when you didnt know.

Same with the Stig, fair play to you for finding out unequivocally who it is... but i think of him still as father christmas..

It was Perry McCarthy (when he wore the black suit), but in his book, he said he was the Stig, so they fired him, and replaced him with Ben Collins
