Default 2wd Saph Steering Coupling Help

Firstly hello i aint been on any forums for ages

Secondly a mate of mine has a 2wd cossie , recently been MOT'd had an advise on the steering coupling bottom of the column whereas the 4x4 has just a UJ 2wds have these instead i gather but trying to track down a replacement is seeming impossible .

Appreciate any ideas please folks

I presume you mean the coupling that attaches to the end of the column?
If so, its the same as every other sierra

Get a 4x4 one and get it cut down to the same length as the 2wd one

ive got a spare 1 im keeping due to their life span but any 2wd sierra with power steering are the same

or as said knuckle joint on 4x4 cut it down

I just went to the closest scrap yard and pulled one off a sierra sapphire. Was exactly the same as my cosworth one but i do remember some there were different.
Was nearly new and only cost £5

I replaced mine recently.

It is the same as a granada one! I paid about 10 quid for the fitting kit which consists just the rubber bit that perishes and some new bolts.

Rubber donut with four bolt holes

Got it froma local motor factor - takes a bit of hunting.

Easy peasy
