Have you any proof as to the 200BHP claim as with the mods in your other post I very much doubt it is 200.

Ford spent a lot of money on the ST200 over the ST24 to get it to around the 200 mark with diffrent pistons, cams, air intake, throttle body, upper and lower inlet manifolds and exhaust. I cant see changing the filter, tb and decat making an extra 30 bhp!!!!!!!!

To get my 200 to 243 I had to do:

Brand new Ford lump
Huge K&N filter
Induction pipe
70mm Mustang TB
Cleaned and optimised UIM (honed to suit the 70mm TB)
Cleaned lower inlet manifold
MSDS headers and fully optimsed Y Pipe
stainless exhaust
Aircon bypassed

I have a direct cold air feed from the front via a removed Morette and also a 3" cold air feed from a scoop under the front bumper.

All set up on a Unichip

243BHP out of a ST200 sounds like a lot. Not saying yours isn't but most ST200 didn't make 200BHP either. Ford had to go to a 3litre to get 220BHP.

I'm sure the tuning company called SVE only managed 250BHP with a Super charger & other mods on an ST24.

What a load of bull. With a supercharger an ST200 is capable of well over 300BHP. A bloke that works on the proper Ford SVT's as they come into the country has one with a charger and uprated internals that is running at well over 300bhp.

We also have an engine that is currently having a Rotrex S/C set up on it before it goes onto either the estate or hatch back 200 that we run.

For your info the estate has:

Brand new Ford lump with less than 3000 miles on it.
MSDS headers, removes the precat
Fully optimized Y pipe
decat pipe
Full stainless exhaust with centre box removed
fully optimised upper and lower inlet manifolds to take
70mm Mustang Throttle body
full intake pipe
Huge K&N filter with plenty of cold air feeds
Air con totally bypassed with MK1 drive belt
Full electric water pump setup.
Fully set up and rolling roaded on a Unichip

And looks like this:

If in doubt ask Percybigun either on here or on any of the Mondeo forums as the car is well known.

As for Ford having to go to 3l to get 220bhp most of them are putting out circa 235 without any mods at all!!!!!!!!

43 BHP increase on yours with just breathing mods is impressive, wasn't this up for sale on ebay or Pistion heads ?

Also I did say ST24 with a super charger on.

Your lucky there, most women talk men out of their cars not into them.
