How does it work if the parcel was sent out of the country? who claims, the sender or reciever?
Posted a parcel to Oz with £100 insurance via RM and it turned up fucked, just need to know who claims as if I do it I cant prove the damage becuase its at the other side of the world, but how would he do it? do RM have offices in Oz for this sort of thing?

as the sender, you have to pay the receiver his money back and make the claim yourself
unfortunately for you to claim on insured royal mail (special delivery when i had to claim) they have to return you the item AND its packaging and you then have to claim.....
its a long and boring process

Great. fucking RM, I knew the contents were fragile so I re-inforced the box with a ply wood inner shell before packing it with all the bubble wrap etc.. turned up fooking flat, what a bunch of cunts.
