Default ANY COSSIE'S WITH NO ENGINE REBUILD'S

MY 4X4 IS JUST ABOUT TO DO 110.000 AND IT HAS NOT HAD A REBUILD (BLOWN UP) YET, AS IT HAS BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER AND HAS THE OBVIOUS GROUP A HEAD GASKET AND ALL THE HEALTHY ENGINE MODS.

TELL ME IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS A BIGEER MILLAGE ON THERE NONE ENGINE REBUILT (BLOWN UP) COSSIE AS I HAVE BEEN THINKING IS THERE ANY BIGGER THAN MINE FOR A WHILE AS THEY USUALLY HAVE A REBUILD AROUND 70.000 MILES, DONT THEY.

ALL COSSIE'S APPLY BY THE WAY.

MANY THANKS

Bullett & Dakar what was the oil consumption like on your engines?

Bullett has anything actully happend to your engine now and your specing it more or just for the fun of it?

Dakar what headgasket you running at the moment?

My 4x4's on 134,000 on original engine as far as I can tell. I did have the head reconditioned after my cambelt lost teeth, so I have 16 new valves, guides, etc... but the bottom end is definitely original.

Stage 1, showing around 250bhp on the rollers so I guess she's probably a little tired.

Mine is on 195.000 km and the only reason it not 230.000 km is that I have changed the headgasket and had some electrical problems the last 1˝ year.

oilconsumption is about 1 litre per. 1000 km.

the last 5 years it have had 300 bhp..It is 350+ now

My cossie is running standard bottom end. Its got about 108,000 mile on it. Ive got an invoice which is from 1999 and it had a top end(cylinder head) rebuild and fingers crossed its running ok. It uses a bit of oil but the coolent level never moves.Touch wood.
