yes, if the price was right

after 3 years warranty on a m3 is £1100+ for a year so a lot of owners dont extend

Why would there be warrenty as its over 3 years old? So unless it had the original BMW warrenty extended, or a garage has put one on your not going to get one.

It would be nice but not essential imo.

you can get a warranty for the car from bm but you have to have them check the car (£250) if anything found wrong they will have to rectify then the warrenty will cost you £1280+vat per year... not really worth it in my opinion but some people do like it just for piece of mind... depends what the car is like really..

top, top car though

Theres a hefty excess on Warranty claims though. You have to consider whether you think the car will develop £1500 +Vat worth of defects in 1 year?

£250 IIRC but thats per claim, so if there are small faults its woht saving them up and making a single claim LOL

if its not got SMG and is at the right price i wouldn't bother

According to my service history(e36) and as long as it has full BMW service history they have been very generous if things go wrong, even up to 100k I believe and I'm not near that yet. Looking over mine there's been vanos changes free, suspension, steering and even a free service thrown in. When I bought mine it came with a 2nd party warranty up to 2k anyway, I especially enquired about the vanos lol.

No way would i pay £1500 for a one year warrenty!

Especially with a £250 excess anyway, id be wanting a no excess policy for that amount of money for sure!

Anyway, i thought these cars were meant to be bullet proof once theyve had the bottom end recall done (earlier ones), and the rear bushes and springs done? And as said, whats going to cost you £1750 (£1500 + £250) to get done anyway? The other common problems, the bushes and springs wont cost anywhere near the price of the warrenty either.

Anyway mate, in answer to your question, no it wouldnt bother me in the slightest. Its a good way of trying to get some money knocked off though.
