Default absolute ebay arsehole....

Really pissed off today....
saw a tyre advertised on egay from 'thephattyreco' 255/35 19 Bridgestone potenza, was really pleased because I had odd tyres on the back of the M3, and this matched the best one.. kept an eye on it and won the auction for £37 and £13 postage! there was 7mm of tread on the tyre and was told that it was faultless..
Tyre arrives on Friday morning and all looks good
Go up to the local tyre fitters today to get it slipped on, leak tested it all looked good , put it on the car and noticed a huge bleb in the sidewall ffs...
come home email the guy and tell him exactly what has happened, get a reply from him saying 'you must of hit a kerb not my problem, all my tyres are tested and mint' ..

Emailed him back saying that i have deffo not hit a kerb and why would I in an M3! I am an honest bloke and would not lie to him... not had a reply since...
Dont know what to do now! gonna wait till monday morning I think, if I have not had a reply by then should I put a Paypal dispute in with him???

any ideas?

Not being funny mate but why are you scrimping on tyres ? Especially on a car like that ? As I was taught years ago there are only 4 points of contact between you and the road you why cut corners on them ? If you can't afford to run and maintain the car properly - then you can't afford the car.

You may have a justifiable complaint with regards to the item - fair point - but why use second hand tyres that you don't know the history of ?

Second hand tyres? Seriously, not a leg to stand on, or tyre to drive on.

I am not scrimping on a tyre mate.. I was given some bullshit story as to why it was for sale, which sounded genuine to me, I had a flat and bought a brand new Bridgestone at £238 and then I see this matching one on the bay and thought I might as well get it and take the Pilot sport off the other side and keep that as a spare so I having matching tyres..
If I could of got a Pilot sport that day when I had a flat instead of a Bridgestone all would be good but I couldnt do without the car for 2 days waiting for one...
